UNDER and in the earth, layers, decomposition, periods, culture, respect, forgetfulness, memories, chemical changes, geology, quality of the earth, nature of matter, microorganisms, vegetation, soil, air, water and metals.
Excavations of human remains for scientific purposes, such as in ancient cemeteries, are preserved, studied, and displayed in museums, educating but at the same time distancing us from the reality that was and is now “archaeological remains.” This is what I am examining in more detail with the aim of gaining a better understanding of and at the same time bringing us closer to it.
