The exhibition „Icelandic Visual Arts: Painting post 1980“ at the National Gallery of Iceland was the first attempt to examin the development of painting from 1980 to 2006.
Guðrún Tryggvadóttir had quite many pieces at the exhibition. The painting „Hempels unterm Sofa 4“ from 1995 and many painted newspapers and drawing books from the years 1980-83.
