Several projects are in preparation and will be announced in more detail as we get closer to publications and exhibitions.
A fun summer course in design and art for 10-12 year olds where children are given the opportunity to work with and develop a sense of space and learn to work with a variety of materials, make models, enlarge and paint.
The idea is based on giving children the opportunity to allow their imagination to create their own world with shapes and colors. All human engineering, design and art is based precisely on knowledge of how shapes are combined and structured to create the material world.
The course is available for children in the municipality of Ölfus, but Guðrún is the instructor at the courses. It is possible to hold equivalent courses for children elsewhere in the country. If you are interested, please contact gudrun@tryggvadottir.com or by phone 8635490,

Master Class workshops in various media are held regularly at Guðrún's studio in Selfoss, where five to six students receive personal guidance at a time. The focus is on oil painting, mixed media, drawing, watercolor painting, and idea development.
